What are the dates for the 2021 LMA Annual Conference?

The 2021 LMA Annual Conference is scheduled to take place Friday, October 22 to Sunday, October 24 at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida.

New this year, we are also offering an expanded Virtual Extension of the 2021 LMA Annual Conference, taking place on Thursday, October 28 and Friday, October 29.

Where will the 2021 LMA Annual Conference be held?

The 2021 LMA Annual Conference will be held at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida — convenient to both Ft. Lauderdale and New Miami International Airports.

The Diplomat is considered the ultimate South Florida resort by the sea, voted one of the top 10 resorts in Florida by Condé Nast Reader's Choice in 2019 and 4-Diamond rated by AAA.

Outside of being set up exactly for our event needs, The Diplomat is an ideal setting at a time when we all could use a little rest, reprieve and rejuvenation to aid in our well-being and ability to operate at our best as professionals.

When can I expect to book a reservation at the conference hotel, The Diplomat?

You can book your reservation today! LMA has secured an advantageous room rate for LMA Annual Conference attendees at The Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. Stay steps away from the action by reserving your hotel room at The Diplomat at a special discounted rate of $299 per night. This special LMA rate is available until September 10, 2021, or until rooms sell out, whichever occurs first.

What is the likelihood that the in-person 2021 LMA Annual Conference will be cancelled?

While we are constantly updating our health and safety protocols, we are 100% committed to holding the 2021 LMA Annual Conference in person at The Diplomat this October.

For those that are unable or unwilling to attend the conference in person, we strongly recommend you consider registering for the expanded Virtual Extension. Registration for the Virtual Extension, held Thursday, October 28 and Friday, October 29, includes access virtual extension education sessions — from the general counsel panel to several breakout sessions, entry to virtual-specific networking opportunities, complimentary access to recordings of all breakout sessions from the in-person LMA Annual Conference, and exclusive access to a livestream of the in-person keynote sessions, including Neil Patel and Siri Lindley. While it won’t be the same as the full, in-person experience, this Virtual Extension is a high-value option to gain critical insights about trends, best practices and practical applications that will help you do your job better, easier and faster.
